E-prescribing

E-prescriptions, checked the moment they're written.

Doctors prescribe from the catalog in a few clicks, and the system checks allergies, pregnancy and drug interactions on the spot — including medicines the patient got at other clinics. An issued prescription never changes, and the patient sees it in their portal.

From the drug catalog, with templates

Search a medicine by brand name or active substance; the catalog shows dosage form and strength. Each line records dose, route and schedule separately, and the diagnosis goes on the prescription.

  • Save frequent prescriptions as templates and load them in one click
  • A template stays personal or is shared with the whole clinic
  • No handwriting — no unreadable prescriptions at the pharmacy

Allergies and drug interactions

Before a prescription is issued, every drug is checked against the patient's allergies — by drug class as well as by name: a penicillin allergy also warns on amoxicillin. Substances contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding are flagged separately.

  • Interactions between drug pairs show severity and an explanation
  • The doctor acknowledges each warning individually — no acknowledgement, no prescription
  • A prescription issued despite a warning is recorded in the audit log

Other clinics' prescriptions count too

If the patient was prescribed something at another clinic in the last 90 days, the interaction check sees those medicines and names the prescribing clinic. This doesn't depend on history-sharing consent: allergies, pregnancy and drug interactions are safety facts, always open to a treating clinic. The reason for that visit and the rest of the record stay hidden.

Issued means final

An issued prescription gets a number (Rp №) and can no longer be edited — enforced by both the application and the database. A print-ready PDF is generated at once: the doctor's name, licence number and specialty; the patient's name, age and FIN; date, diagnosis, medicines, dose, route, schedule, notes, a signature line and the clinic's name.

Patients see it in their portal

Patients see issued prescriptions from every clinic in one place — Anamnez Portal — and download the PDF. If they choose, they set up medication reminders and mark each dose as taken or skipped. The prescribing clinic sees those marks for its own prescriptions in the patient's chart, so adherence is no longer a guess.

Frequently asked questions

Do the warnings slow doctors down?

No. The doctor reads the warning, makes the clinical call, acknowledges and carries on. The system only refuses to let a warning go unseen, and records the decision in the audit log.

Will we see a patient's prescriptions from another clinic?

Not in full. The interaction check uses only the name, active substance and prescribing clinic of medicines from the last 90 days. You see the patient's full history only if they give your clinic sharing consent.

How does the patient get the prescription?

A PDF is ready the moment the prescription is issued — print it and hand it over. The same prescription appears in the patient's Anamnez Portal, where they can download it.
