For urology clinics
Urological exam, prostate findings and IPSS — in one chart.
Anamnez brings a urology clinic's visits, prescriptions, cash desk and schedule into one system. Doctors record the urological exam in a structured form and follow IPSS over time; you see revenue and empty slots.
A visit built for urologists
The visit is made of urology sections: complaint, history, vital signs, urological status, diagnosis and treatment plan. Every section also has a free-text field.
- Urological status: abdomen and kidneys (palpation, costovertebral angle tenderness — left and right), bladder and post-void residual, external genitalia and inguinal hernia, testes and scrotum
- Digital rectal examination of the prostate: size and estimated volume, consistency, nodules (which lobe), median sulcus, tenderness; a urine dipstick result sits in the status too
- History: past urological conditions and procedures, last PSA, catheter or stent, anticoagulants, erectile function, family prostate cancer, daily fluid intake; a normal abdomen, kidney and bladder exam fills in with one click
- Diagnosis with an ICD-10 code — a visit can't be completed without complaint and diagnosis; doctors' own templates and one-click copy from the previous visit; visit summaries and referral letters as PDFs
IPSS — at the visit and before it
IPSS (International Prostate Symptom Score) is scored during the visit and saved to the patient's chart; results are plotted, so the response to treatment shows at a glance. If the patient filled in IPSS in the questionnaire before the visit, it is recorded on the chart as a patient-reported score when the visit starts. The quality-of-life question is recorded separately — it is not part of the score.
A questionnaire before the visit
If your clinic switches it on, the patient fills in a urology questionnaire in the portal before the visit — about 5 minutes: what is bothering them, since when, the IPSS questions (they can skip them if they have no trouble passing urine), past procedures, blood thinners, diabetes, family prostate cancer. If the patient reports being unable to pass urine, a high temperature with pain in the side, or sudden severe pain in a testicle, the portal tells them straight away not to wait for the appointment and to call 112. Nobody reads the questionnaire before the visit — the doctor sees the answers during the visit and moves them into complaint and history in one click; what the doctor wrote is never overwritten.
Between visits: plan, catheter, medicines
When the visit is completed, the doctor shares a plan with the patient: the follow-up date, tasks and warning signs. There are ready-made lists for urinary symptoms, kidney stones, and after a urological procedure or with a catheter, so the patient knows when to call 112 and when to contact the clinic. The treatment plan records planned procedures, the catheter (type, size, next change date) and conservative measures. Allergies and drug interactions are checked automatically when a prescription is written — including what other clinics prescribed; patients set medication reminders in the portal, and the doctor sees the dose log in the chart for the medicines your clinic prescribed.
For the owner: confidentiality, cash desk, follow-ups
Another clinic sees the patient's visits with you only with the consent the patient gave to that clinic; without consent, only allergies and recently prescribed medicines are taken into account when a prescription is checked. Lock-screen notifications and email subjects never carry clinical details. Unbooked follow-ups land on a recall list, and a freed slot is offered to the waitlist. Cash-desk shifts, discount limits, voluntary insurance registries and doctor commissions live in the same system.
Frequently asked questions
Is IPSS included?
Yes. IPSS is scored during the visit, saved to the chart and plotted over time. If your clinic has switched on the pre-visit questionnaire, the patient fills it in at home and the result is recorded on the chart as a patient-reported score when the visit starts.
What happens if a patient writes in the questionnaire that they cannot pass urine?
The portal immediately tells the patient not to wait for the appointment and to call 112. Nobody is alerted automatically and nobody reads the questionnaire before the visit — the doctor sees the answers during the visit.
Does it connect to ultrasound or uroflowmetry machines?
No, Anamnez does not connect to devices. The post-void residual and dipstick result are entered in the urological status and investigations are ordered from the visit; patients can send results they got elsewhere to your clinic from "My files" as PDF, PNG or JPEG.
