Anamnez

For orthopedics and trauma clinics

From injury to rehab — the orthopedic visit in one chart.

Anamnez brings an orthopedics and trauma clinic's visits, prescriptions, cash desk and insurance into one system. Doctors record the mechanism of injury, the orthopedic exam and range of motion in a structured form, and immobilisation, weight-bearing and rehab in the plan; you see revenue and empty slots.

A visit built for orthopedic surgeons

The visit is made of orthopedic sections: complaint, history, orthopedic examination, diagnosis and plan. Every section also has a free-text field. Pain intensity (NRS) and the Beighton hypermobility score are scored during the visit and plotted over time.

  • Complaint: region and side, pain intensity (0–10) and character, night pain, swelling, locking or giving way, functional limitation
  • History: mechanism and time of injury, hand dominance, previous fractures and orthopedic surgery, blood thinners, occupation and sport
  • Orthopedic examination: region, side and gait; inspection (swelling, deformity, bruising, wound, muscle wasting); palpation (point of maximal tenderness, effusion, crepitus); range of motion in a table — active and passive degrees per movement; muscle strength (MRC 0–5); special tests
  • Distal neurovascular status — pulses, capillary refill, sensation, motor function and signs of compartment syndrome; a normal exam fills in with one click
  • Diagnosis with an ICD-10 code — fractures, dislocations, sprains, osteoarthritis, back pain and tendinopathies included; a visit can't be completed without complaint and diagnosis

The plan: immobilisation, weight-bearing, rehab

The plan holds the immobilisation method (cast, splint, brace, sling, cervical collar, bandage, taping), site and duration; weight-bearing status, from full to non-weight-bearing; physiotherapy and rehab focus and number of sessions; procedures (closed reduction, joint aspiration, intra-articular injection); whether surgery is indicated (elective or urgent) and the planned procedure; VTE prophylaxis; advice on returning to work, sport and driving; investigations ordered and referrals. Allergies and drug interactions are checked automatically the moment a prescription is written — including what other clinics prescribed.

A questionnaire before the visit

If your clinic switches it on, the patient fills in an orthopedic questionnaire in the portal before the visit — about 5 minutes: where and on which side it hurts, how bad the pain is, whether there was an injury, how and when, previous fractures and operations, blood thinners, occupation and sport. If the patient reports a bone visibly out of shape, a cold or numb hand or foot, pain that keeps getting worse (especially under a cast), back pain with loss of bladder or bowel control, or a hot, swollen joint with a fever, the portal tells them straight away to call 112. If they can't put weight on the leg or use the arm after an injury, the portal warns it may be a fracture and, if the appointment is days away, advises contacting the clinic today or going to an urgent trauma clinic. Nobody reads the questionnaire before the visit — the doctor sees the answers during the visit and moves them into complaint and history in one click; what the doctor wrote is never overwritten.

Between visits: plan, files, medicines

When the visit is completed, the doctor shares a plan with the patient: the follow-up date, tasks and warning signs. There are ready-made lists for a cast or splint, back pain and after orthopedic surgery, so the patient gets in writing when to call 112 and when to contact the clinic. The patient can send your clinic imaging reports and discharge summaries from elsewhere from "My files" in the portal (PDF, PNG, JPEG); they land in the doctor's "Patient files" tab. With medication reminders the patient logs doses taken and skipped, and the doctor sees this on the chart for medicines your clinic prescribed. Nobody watches any of this in real time — the doctor reviews it at the visit.

For the owner: insurance, cash desk, follow-ups

Trauma care runs over several visits. Unbooked follow-ups land on a recall list, and a freed slot is offered to the waitlist. Voluntary insurance — insurer tariffs, guarantee letters, the insurer's and the patient's share on each invoice, a monthly registry per insurer — lives in the same system as cash-desk shifts, discount limits and doctor commissions.

Frequently asked questions

Which orthopedic scales are included?

Pain intensity (NRS, 0–10) and the Beighton hypermobility score (nine manoeuvres). Results are scored during the visit, saved to the patient's chart and plotted over time; the doctor interprets the Beighton result for the patient's age.

Does it connect to the X-ray machine or show images?

No. Anamnez does not connect to devices and does not replace your image viewer (PACS). You order investigations from the visit and keep the results in the record; the patient can send you reports from elsewhere through the portal.

Can we work with insured patients?

Yes. Insurers and their service tariffs, the patient's policy, guarantee letters, the insurer's and the patient's share on each invoice, and a monthly registry per insurer with ICD-10 codes in Excel — all in one system.
